Bitcoin (BTC)’s first new macro asset in 150 years, analysts say

9 months ago 3 Min Read

Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, has already secured “macro asset class” status along with real estate, energy products, bonds, equities and precious metals. As shown by Bitcoiner Willy Woo, the standard is capitalized by more than a trillion dollars. Are we still early?

Bitcoin (BTC) will become the first newcomer on the macro asset list in 150 years

$2,05 trillion Capitalization – Part of a net $3.34 trillion Crypto cap – Bitcoin (BTC) has already solidified its position on the global macro assets list. This estimate was shared by his 1.1 million X-followers and legendary trader and investor Willie Wu.

Bitcoin is the first new macro asset to be traded on a large scale in 150 years.

Also, Bitcoin (BTC) is a very specific asset on the list. First of all, that’s the first addition in 150 years. Energy commodities like oil were listed in the late 1850s, but real estate secured such a position in the early 1800s.

Then Bitcoin (BTC) is the fastest mover here. It took only 16 years for the cryptocurrency to not only become the global macro asset itself, but also to send out such a large class of assets: cryptocurrency.

Willie Wu added that his argument with the Global Macro Investment Fund has revealed that investors agreed that things are just beginning for Bitcoin (BTC).

Bitcoin (BTC) is changing its hands at $103,264. In just a week, that capitalization added 7%, again exceeding $2 trillion.

Can I maintain Ethereum (ETH)?

Bitcoin (BTC) has secured the status of global macro assets due to its increased role as a narrative of value stores (SOVs) and exchange methods (MOEs). The first unleashed the path to creating preparations for domestic and corporate Bitcoin (BTC) that are now mainstream.

At the same time, Ethereum (ETH) has expressed the opinion that the second crypto is far superior value (SOV) thanks to its protection from inflation.

According to Willie Wu’s standards, the price of Ethereum (ETH) was cruelly rejected at $2,700 today, but should add 200% to join the list of global macro assets after Bitcoin (BTC).
