The AI Platform Verification Cloud has provided the ability to launch language models on the Hedera network and access blockchain data in a way that is more accessible to decentralized finance users. The Mavrik-1 AI engine is being deployed on Hedera, with several other planned integrations expected during the public deployment later this year.
The AI engine is designed to allow users to interact with Defi protocols and access blockchain data via natural language queries without the need for technical knowledge or experience. Mavrik-1 uses on-chain data trained for Defi, Stablecoins and other blockchain applications.
According to AI development company Leewewheretz, the AI industry will become a $15 trillion industry by 2030, with many of which moving to the decentralized web, allowing blockchain to have more control over computing resources and databases. This was further confirmed by Ernst & Young, who reported in 2024 that AI and Web3 could eliminate each other’s shortcomings.
