He has already seen support from big players like Kraken who gave $111,111 at Bitcoin, and grassroots efforts that raked for around $270,000. Now he’s enough to start over, and many people in the crypto community often see.

According to the blockchain analytics platform LookonChain, the 300 BTC landed in Ulbrichit’s wallet a few hours after it was sent. This is not the first hand that generous supporters reached out.

Another address tied to Ulbricht raised $4,615 for Ethereum, USDC, Tether (USDT) and Binance Coin (BNB). All this suggests that many people still care deeply about his destiny.
President’s pardon and rebellion
On January 21, 2025, US President Donald Trump signed Ulbricht’s full and unconditional pardon. He spent 11 years in a double life sentence without parole after being convicted in New York in 2015 for drug and money laundering conspiracy.
Based on the report, Ulbricht may have access to inactive Bitcoin wallets connected to Silk Road, and those wallets may hold around $47 million. Its potential stash only encourages more debate. Some people ask if he really needs an outside donation if he can use $47 million in dormant coins.

Ulbricht has also turned into a sales of his past. Based on a report from Scorce City, a collectible platform powered by Bitcoin, he raised about $1.8 million by auctioning out personal items and art.
His prison ID card drew the best bid: 11 BTC, now worth more than $1.1 million. The oil painting, created with the help of fellow inmate “Omega”, was on sale for 1.01 BTC. All 13 artifacts were available to get, including prison sneakers, sweatsuits, t-shirts, prison notebooks, locker locks.
Before his arrest, he owned a Jembed drum, a backpack, and Vibram 5 finger shoes. Bidders must complete their payment by June 2nd, and Ulbricht said they are ready to move on from these physical reminders.
