The post, released by Cryptocurrency Project Magic Eden (ME), announced that it aims to work with Trump’s Memocoin to create Trump’s cryptocurrency wallets, was rejected by Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.
Donald Trump Jr. issued the following statement on the situation:
The Trump organization has no affiliated with this wallet product at all. Eric Trump and I have no knowledge of that. Looking forward to World Liberty Financial, we are working tirelessly on our official wallet and will be releasing it soon.
However, it is possible that the X post shared by Magic Eden was a fake announcement as the hackers took over the account. ME token prices have risen significantly since the announcement.
