Crypto.com today launched its boldest credit card offering with the launch of the Crypto.com VisaSignature® credit card, “we spend in dollars. make money in crypto” to consumers. The new cards feature industry-leading cashback rates and a set of premium perks, all delivered directly through the Crypto.com app.
With a strategic play to beat mainstream spenders, the Visa Signature Card offers 3.5% in CRO on all purchases for the first 12 months. Cardholders can manage their balance, track rewards, seamlessly redeem CROs within the Crypto.com app, and do not enjoy annual fees on the card itself.
This product arrives in five different metal finish layers (morning blue, ruby steel, jade emerald, ice white, black and black plants) and gradually unlocks CRO staking requirements and rewards. Midnight Bluetier doesn’t require CRO stocks, but the Obsidian Black Card, the largest tier, requires 12 months of stock in the CRO worth $500,000, achieving 6.5% cashback (afterwards at a base rate of 5%), making it one of the most generous crypto reward structures on the market.
Level up your loyalty program
The new Crypto.com card will go beyond daily spending rewards, integrate its Level Up Loyalty Program, grant 100% rebates to certain subscriptions, including Netflix and Spotify, and allow exclusive invitations to VIP sporting events and experiences. By staking or locking CRO tokens through the app, users will directly examine weekly wagers to level up while contributing to blockchain security.
It’s a three-step process to start. Download the Crypto.com app, select your preferred card tier, check your prequalifications (soft credit inquiries that do not affect your score), and bet to lock the required CROs to your card level. Once approved, the cardholder simply pays the balance through the app (withdraws a paper statement) and sees a crypto reward for each swipe.
On the credit front, new cardholders will enjoy variable purchase APRs ranging from 18.24% to 32.24% based on their credit score. Late payments and balance transfers charge in line with industry norms, but the minimum interest rate is $3.00 per cycle.
With this launch, Crypto.com solidifies its position at the intersection of traditional finance and crypto innovation, providing mainstream consumers with an attractive gateway to earn digital assets rewards for everyday spending. As competition heats up between crypto-related cards, it sets a high bar for both rewards and user experiences from 2025 onwards.
