Truth Social, a social media company founded by US President Donald Trump, continues its cryptocurrency movement.
At this point, Truth Social has finally signaled to launch a utility token tied to the premium subscription service, Patriot Package.
According to Decrypt, Truth Social TV has announced plans to launch a token that rewards users as part of its streaming subscription package.
In the near future, Patriot Pack subscribers will accumulate gems in true social accounts based on their level of engagement with the platform. These are ultimately tied to utility tokens in both Truth and Truth+.
The company previously said it was considering issuing utility tokens in April.
With key steps in place to expand its presence in the crypto space, this is not the first time that True Social has announced plans for cryptocurrency.
At this point, last month the company applied for a Spot Bitcoin ETF and a combo ETF of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Earlier this week, the company submitted to the SEC to a “Crypto Blue Chip” ETF, consisting of BTC, ETH, Solana (SOL), XRP and CRO.
