The mysterious creator of Bitcoin, Nakamoto Atoshi, has recently surpassed one of Europe’s most prominent billionaires in the world’s wealth rankings.

Satoshi’s net worth rose significantly (over $4 billion) on Thursday when Bitcoin prices surged, according to blockchain analytics firm Arkham.

Nakamoto Atoshi is now the 12th wealthiest man in the world.

With Bitcoin prices rising recently, Satoshi’s 1.096 million BTC Stash has raised his estimated net worth in the elite rankings, placing him as the 12th wealthiest man in the world.

Despite this enormous wealth, Satoshi’s identity remains unknown. The Bitcoin address linked to the creator of Bitcoin has never spurred speculation about whether a coin can be touched.

Satoshi’s BTC stockpile has remained untouched, along with the mystery surrounding his identity and motivations since the launch of Bitcoin.

Satoshi is currently worth $129.42 billion

Bitcoin extended its profits on Friday, following its record surge, and it hit a high of $116,842 on Thursday, when Bitcoin ETF spent its biggest day of the year.

The flagship cryptocurrency price last rose 6.28% to $117,906, according to data from CoinmarketCap. Previously, it reached a high of $118,909.
