Podcaster and founder of Bitcoin Treasury Company Procap Btc LLC, Anthony Pompliano has published an excerpt from a recent interview with former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ).

CZ revealed that when they were placed in federal prisons in May 2024, all prisoners were sorted based on their ethnicity. Thus, Asians came together with Pacific Islanders and Native Americans. The intention seemed to be to prevent a prison fight.
Changpeng Zhao said his first cellmate was a double murderer, meaning he killed two at once. He had been sentenced to 30 years in prison. However, due to good behavior, his time was reduced.
CZ says that the man was snoring loudly on his first night in the cell, and CZ thinks to stop him to kick him, but thinks that treating a double murderer like that might not be safe for him.
Pulliano highlighted this fact in his X-Post, saying it was “one of the most successful entrepreneurs of our life.”

CZ spent four months in prison last year from the end of May to the end of October on charges of violating US security and anti-money laundering laws. Binance also paid a multi-billion dollar fine and forced CZ to step down as CEO of LIFE. Richard Teng, who is currently running Binance, was chosen to replace him at the helm of the Binance exchange.
