This collaboration introduces an out-of-exchange settlement solution through Cactus Oasis, designed to improve the security and capital efficiency of the assets of institutional clients. The integration will be released on July 28th, 2025.

This partnership allows institutional and professional clients to trade on BYBit without prior funding of exchange accounts. Clients reduce counterparty risk while their assets are separated, held in regulated custody and transferred to Buybit only in trade settlements, maintaining liquidity access to the market.

“BYBIT is committed to providing institutions with a safe and efficient trading environment. CactusOasis integration allows clients to have more flexibility in managing liquidity without compromising their asset protection.” said Shunyet Jan, head of Bybit’s institutional and derivative words.

Parental Infrastructure and Compliance

Cactus Custody offers bank-grade security through a tiered hot and cold wallet system, combining hardware security module encryption with institutional-grade cold storage. Custodian has SOC 1 Type 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification from Deloitte and is authorized under the Hong Kong Financial Bureau as a trust company and trust or company service provider.

Cactus Oasis provides cross-platform custody through buffer accounts and streamlines asset management across multiple exchanges. The platform offers flexible risk controls, including dual and pre-approval modes, customizable approval and payment workflows, and compliance with KYC, KYB and KYT requirements.

“Integration with BYBIT addresses the agency’s demands for secure custody, risk reduction and efficient post-trade settlements, representing a meaningful step in promoting digital asset trading infrastructure and promoting institutional adoption.” said Wendy Jiang, general manager of Cactus Custody.

The partnership covers institutions in the Asia-Pacific region where regulatory clarity, risk management and capital flexibility are considered essential for long-term market engagement.
