ChainLink has launched a new data stream that provides real-time pricing data for US stocks and ETFs directly to the blockchain. This update allows developers to build new financial tools such as tokenized inventory, synthetic ETFs, and permanent futures using accurate and fast market data.
The new services include real-time pricing for key assets such as SPY, QQQ, AAPL, MSFT, and NVDA. These data streams are already used in Defi protocols such as GMX, Kamino, and GMX-Solana. Data is now available on 37 different blockchains.
The goal is to support the growing market for tokenized RWA. With a $30 trillion market forecast for tokenized RWAs by 2030, reliable on-chain access to traditional financial data is considered a necessary step. ChainLink’s new services include features such as stalability checks, pricing accuracy, and market time enforcement, which helps ensure quality and reliability.
By providing this type of data directly on-chain, ChainLink aims to support the development of more advanced financial products and integrate traditional capital markets with blockchain infrastructure. The move is that new US policies, including the proposed genius law, point to expanding support for the adoption of blockchain.
The launch of the data stream reflects ChainLink’s ongoing work, providing tools to link traditional funds with blockchain systems and supporting a broader institutional engagement in tokenized asset markets.
