Cardano’s new project, Midnight, offers free tokens through Big Glacier Airdrop, already sent to over 37 million wallets across major blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, XRP, Solana, BNB, Avax, Bat, and more.

What you’re getting:

As explained by analysts, eligible users will receive Night, Sidechain’s main utility token focused on Cardano’s midnight privacy. Another token called dust) is also involved in the shielding of the transaction. 50% of the airdrop is passed to the ADA holder, 20% is passed to the BTC, and 30% is shared based on the value of the US dollar.

How to claim:

  1. You will be redirected to the official Midnight Claim Portal (announced soon).
  2. Enter the origin wallet address (where you hold the eligible token).
  3. Enter your brand new, unused Cardano wallet address (destination).
  4. Accept the terms, sign the claim, and wait for the token to unzip.
  5. Every 90 days, 25% of the tokens unlock. You can charge gradually or wait for everything to be thawed.

Did you miss it? There are still options:

If you don’t qualify, in Phase 2 (Scavenger Mine), anyone can use the power of a computer to earn the remaining tokens. No special hardware is required. Phase 3 (Lost & Found) provides final opportunities for eligible users who do not charge in time, but this step must be done directly through smart contracts.

The redemption process begins after the airdrop and slowly unlocks the token. Make sure you have a small amount of ADA in your wallet for transaction fees. If you do not request within 360 days, the token will go to Cardano Treasury.
