ETF Store’s president says XRPETF’s BlackRock “no” may not last long

Even after BlackRock publicly said he had no plans to launch it publicly, rumors about the possible XRP exchange sales fund are unlikely to die. ETF analyst and ETF store president Nate Geraci says he hopes to see both XRP and Solana ETFs in the company’s lineup at some point.

The whole thing started a little back and forth with the X. A BlackRock spokesman says there are no such plans at the moment. Although Gelach did not mention who is right, he revealed that he believes that Endgame contains XRP ETF.

That belief is even more important now that Ripple’s long battle with the SEC has officially ended. Last week’s joint filing closed the door to appeal, and Judge Annalisa Torres’ 2023 decision: Agency’s XRP sales violate securities laws, and exchange sales with retail investors are not security. Only in years have the legal status of tokens been clear.

What BlackRock’s XRP ETF brings to XRP

BlackRock, which already lists Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, may require some clarification before adding XRP. If they approve it, the institution may acquire a regulated exposure without using exchanges, which increases liquidity and makes the assets easier to integrate into payment networks and bank rails.

At the moment, the company’s statement is a solid “no”, but if timing, rules and competition are all lined up, “No” can easily be turned into “next.”
