Bithumb, one of South Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has released a new list.
KRW Pairs (Bio) for Bithumb List Bioprotocol
The exchange has announced that it will trade its token, Bioprotocol (Bio), into Korea’s Winning (KRW). According to the official announcement, Bio’s deposits and withdrawals will be available within three hours of the announcement.
Transactions will begin on August 19, 2025 at 5pm. The starting price of the exchange bio is 184 krw. Deposits also require 33 block checks.
According to information provided by Bithumb, Bio is supported only through the Ethereum Network and investments from other networks are not accepted.
Bio Protocol stands out as a Desci (Decentralized Science) platform that aims to combine biotechnology research and funding processes with blockchain technology.
The platform allows researchers to fund projects through IP tokenization or private funding mechanisms. Community members can also bet on the biotoken and speak out in the direction of research.
Biotokens serve as a key tool for governance, staking, and other uses within the ecosystem. Experts believe the listing will raise awareness of bioprotocols and raise interest in DESCI projects within the Korean crypto market.
