Ethereum Treasury Firm Ethzilla today announced its share repurchase program for up to $250 million in outstanding common stock. The company also revealed that it owns more than 102,000 ETH on its balance sheet.
Ethzilla increases Ethereum Holdings
According to today’s announcement, Ethzilla currently holds a total of 102,237 ETH with an average acquisition price of $3,948. Executive Chairman McAndrew Rudysil commented:

As we continue to expand our ETH reserve and pursue opportunities for differentiated yields, our current aggressive stock repurchase programme underscores our commitment to maximizing shareholder value.
Ethzilla’s Ethereum Holdings is currently valued at over $489 million. This latest acquisition places the company as the Ethereum Treasury as the fourth largest publicly traded company.
Coingecko’s data shows that digital asset mining company Bitmine Immersion currently owns the world’s largest immersion with more than 1.7 million ETH on its balance sheet. It is then followed by Sharplink, which has more than 740,000 ETH in Crypto reserves.
In particular, Ethzilla remains worth nearly $215 million in cash. Following today’s announcement, its shares rose 6% to trade above $3.50. Since the start of the year, stock prices have increased by more than 92%.
