NFT sales double to $256 million, Fypurrr tops list

NFT sales volume more than doubled, surging 103.11% to $256.9 million. This is a notable turnaround from last week’s sales volume of $84.6 million.

Cryptoslam data shows:

  • Number of NFT buyers jumped 18.25% to 694,348
  • Sellers increased by 17.77% to 584,235.
  • NFT transactions decreased by 8.67% to 1,874,619.

Bitcoin (BTC) rallied to the $122,000 level, activating the entire crypto market. Ethereum (ETH) climbed to $4,500 following the lawsuit.

The global crypto market cap currently stands at $4.2 trillion, up from $3.78 trillion last week. This bullish momentum spilled over into the NFT sector, which posted impressive gains.

Hypurrr dominates NFT collections

The Hypurrr collection emerged as the top performer this week, generating $88.77 million in sales with 850 transactions.

This collection attracted 406 buyers and 645 sellers. Hypurrr also dominated the top private NFT sales, accounting for four of the top five spots.

MoonBirds took second place with sales of $18.72 million, an increase of 254.57%. The Ethereum-based collection saw 1,319 transactions with 398 buyers and 424 sellers participating.

Cryptopunks took third place with $17.33 million, posting a surge of 468.88%. There were 26 transactions in the collection, with 20 buyers and 19 sellers.

Base Blockchain’s DX Terminal was in fourth place with $8.67 million in sales, an increase of 0.73%. This collection processed 367,697 transactions and attracted 113,948 buyers.

DMARKET rounds out the top five with Mythos blockchain sales of $7.95 million, an increase of 34.95% from the previous week.

Ethereum leads the blockchain rankings

Ethereum maintained its position as the leading blockchain for NFT sales, recording a volume of $97.4 million, an increase of 124.35% from last week’s $28.3 million.

The network handled $284 million worth of laundry washes, for a total of $118.24 million. The platform saw 104,625 buyers, an increase of 3.55%.

HypereVM came in second with $88.77 million in sales, driven entirely by the performance of the Hyperrr Collection. Interestingly, the blockchain recorded zero buyers during the tracking period.

Mythos Chain was in third place with $13.07 million, an increase of 17.69% from last week’s $10.9 million. Blockchain attracted 45,713 buyers, an increase of 20.71%.

Bitcoin took fourth place with $10.97 million. This is a 36.20% increase from last week’s $14.12 million. The network had 23,635 buyers, an increase of 23.07%.

The base fell to the fifth position with $10.92 million, a decrease of 19.71% from the previous week. Blockchain had 284,780 buyers, an increase of 24.15%.

Solana (Sol) landed in 7th place with $7.74 million, an increase of 56.23% from last week’s $16.1 million. Blockchain recorded 56,811 buyers, an increase of 18.33%.
