BitMEX has released a redesigned mobile app that mirrors desktop liquidity, supports over 80 derivative contracts and spot trading, and introduces gesture-based, low-friction order execution for active crypto traders on the go.

BitMEX has announced the release of a redesigned mobile application optimized for derivatives and spot trading, the cryptocurrency exchange said in a statement.

BitMEX launches liquidity alternative

According to the company, the application will give BitMEX users access to the same liquidity and trading features available on the desktop platform. According to BitMEX, the mobile app supports trading of over 80 derivative contracts, copy trading, trading bots, and cryptocurrency conversion of over 30 digital assets with zero fees.

The exchange reports that the platform is designed to reduce the number of clicks and interactions required for core trading processes. According to the announcement, features include gesture-driven trading with “swipe-to-close” functionality to close positions, one-swipe navigation of menu items and markets, one-click fiat purchases, streamlined know-your-customer authentication, and more.

According to BitMEX, the mobile application features a redesigned interface that differs from the visual design of the desktop platform. The app supports secure deposit and withdrawal of funds, the company added.

According to the exchange, this release represents a redevelopment of BitMEX’s mobile services and is aimed at providing low-latency access to derivatives trading on mobile devices. BitMEX has confirmed that the application is now available for download.
