PayID is a widely adopted payment system in Australia, allowing users to receive bank transfers instantly using simple identifiers such as phone numbers and email addresses rather than traditional bank account details.
This update follows the successful registration of Alchemy Pay as a digital currency exchange provider with Australian government financial intelligence agency Austrak, allowing for the complexity of Fiat-Crpto Exchange services within Australia.

Australia is part of Alchemy Pay’s broader global strategy. In Europe, the company supports SEPA instant, faster payments, and integrations with Blik, Bancontact and Skrill. In Southeast Asia, it enables crypto payments through local channels such as Dana, Ovo, Qris, Maya, Coins.ph, Grabpay, Gcash, Thai QR, and Touch’n Go.
Most Australian banks support PayIDs, making it the standard way to conduct daily transactions between individuals, businesses and institutions. Alchemy Pay says the integration “opens the path for a streamlined onboarding process and new pathways for Australian crypto projects to drive market expansion.”
