Miners are collecting higher revenues as Bitcoin has risen 14.6% over the last 30 days. The continuation rate of 1 peta hash per second (pH/s) of hash power is about $60.49, padding the benefits of some of the application-specific top integrated circuit (ASIC) rigs. Let’s take a look at the main machines of the moment and how they stack up in the ongoing BTC Bull Run in 2025.

Bitcoin Bull Run enhances mining profits

Bitcoin mining rigs are creating significantly more value than they were just a month ago. At the time, the spot price for one peta hash per second was $53.20. Todai is clocked at $60.49 and has jumped 13.7% in just 30 days. With an operating cost of $0.06 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) (OPEX), given the difficulty of today, the King of ASIC Miners is Bitmain’s Antminer S21E XP Hydro 3U, cranking out the impressive 860 Terahash per second.

However, the machine gazs a massive 11,180 watts (W) of 11,180 watts (W) to maintain hash power humming. In the context, most residential air conditioners subtract around 2,000-3,000 watts. So this single mining rig draws the same power as 3-5 AC units that run non-stop. With that in mind, at current rates, the S21E XP Hydro 3U draws an estimated $35.66 in daily profits. Second coming is the TeraFlux AH3880 by Auradine, which delivers 600 terra hash power (Th/s) per second.

The American-made Teraflux AH3880 pulls out roughly 8,700 W, lagging behind the raw hash power, but is slightly more energy efficient than the top candidates. Just behind the Teraflux AH3880 is the 500th work hose, with Bitmain’s Antminer S21 XP+ Hydro, a 500th work hose that sucks in 5,500 W. The model currently has an energy efficiency rating of 11 Joules per terrahash, with a daily profit of around $22.17.

Bitmain’s Antminer S21 XP Hydro.

Close the heels is an Antminer S21 XP Hydro at 473 Th/s, which will bring in $20.29 a day, minus 5,676 watts. Bitdeer’s Sealminer A2 Pro Hydro, fresh from its March 2025 debut, drains 500 Th/s at 7,450 watts, generating around $19.36 each day. Then there’s Bitmain’s S21E XP HYD from November 2024, with an output of 430 Th/s and a power draw of 5,590 W.

Meanwhile, Canaan’s Avalon A1566ha 2u offers 480 Th/s at 8,064 watts, earning $17.27 every 24 hours. Bitdeer made another appearance in the February 2025 Sealminer A2 Hydro, offering 446 Th/s at 7,360 watts, making it a good daily income of an estimated $16.24. Bitmain’s old but still capable S19 XP Hydro 3U throws 512 Th/s and chases 10,600 watts to pull in $15.55 a day. Microbt’s Whatsminer M63s+ raises 424 Th/s at 7,208 W and collects profits of $15.14. And lastly, the Aurazine TeraFlux AI3680 rolls things up with 375 Th/s, a 5,625 watts of appetite and a daily $14.47 return.

Small rigs, big dreams: microminers still make money

For enthusiasts and low-power tykers, numbers shrink, but the fun never stops. Bitmain’s old Antminer S17+ from 2019 will outsmart $0.19 per day in the 73rd second at 2,920 watts. Right behind it is a new little rig that launched in March 2025, drinking just 76 watts at 4.8 Th/s and netting $0.18 a day.

Two iterations of the Bitmain S17 Pro from April 2019 – one in the 53rd and the other in the 50th, both hovering around $0.16 to $0.17 per day, but hanging despite his age. Meanwhile, the Compact Canan Avalon Nano 3S is the sixth distribution at just 140 watts, clearing $0.16 each day. Finishing the microminor league is the refined Suprahex 701 with a 4.2 Th/s on June 2025 and a 75 watt draw.

S9 SAGA: From Money Pit to a modest comeback

Of course, not all miners ride high. The former Legendary Bitmain Antminer S9 series, former Titan of Bitcoin Mining World, is red at $0.06 per kWh. The S9 SE was launched in June 2019 at 1,280 watts and currently loses about $0.88 per day. The original 2017 S9 model offers just 11.5 Th/s at 1,127 watts, but bleeding about $0.93 a day. And that only gets worse from there.

At one point, Bitmain’s S9 units had a huge amount of Bitcoin hashrate.

The 12.5 th/s S9 and the 14th S9i were underwater at $1.01 and $1.06 per day, respectively. Meanwhile, the S9J and S9K models both hover around 13.5-14.5 Th/s and Gulping 1,300+ Watts, each leaking $1.07 each. These aging mainstay Hols were in the spotlight, but the difficulty and electrical cost of 2025 turned them into power-hungry artifacts.

But give these old men cheap powers, and they still have some fight left for them. At just $0.02 per kWh, the June 2019 Bitmain Antminer S9 SE draws in $0.35 daily profits with a 16th/s and 1,280 watts of appetite. The S9 Hydro is a 2018 model built to handle higher wattages and 18th/s while gazing 1,728 watts, at $0.25 a day.

Other S9 models also take away the way back to black. Both the S9J and S9I have similar power to the 14th s since 2018, with around 1,300 watts, and are currently making $0.22 and $0.21 each day. Even the 2017 OG S9 and its slightly newer brother, S9K, bring in $0.18 a day, sipping power at bargain rates.

So, while most S9s are buried under standard power prices, dropping Opex will flip the script. Under the right conditions, these aged rigs can mine roads up to a few dollars a week, allowing them to live a little longer in the rapidly evolving world of Bitcoin mining.
