Band Protocol, a cross-chain data Oracle platform that connects real data to smart contracts, today announced that over 200 token symbols have been successfully tested on Band V3 Testnet.

In a tweet posted to X, Band Protocol revealed that the V3 testnet had effectively tested over 200 token symbols. This event is essential as it highlights the capabilities of Oracle Network that provide diverse and reliable pricing data.

Over 200 symbols have been successfully tested on the Band V3 Testnet!

With the launch of Band V3 MainNet, Devs and Projects can list any token symbols on Bandchain via Signaling Hub. There are endless opportunities await you – stay tuned!

Start up the band Oracle V3 upgrade

Band Protocol owns and runs Bandchain, a blockchain built on top of the Cosmos SDK. Blockchain explicitly aims at Oracle’s calculations, allowing smart contracts to interact effectively and securely with real data.

According to the report, the successful testing of over 200 symbols on the band V3 testnet shows a variety of meanings. First, it highlights the upcoming release of the band Oracle V3 on the mainnet in the third quarter (July, August, or September 2025). V3 TestNet TestNet was run in parallel with Bandchain MainNet.

With the launch of band Oracle V3, band protocol developers and projects can list the preferred token symbols on the band chain via signaling hubs (accessible via Cosmoscan). Projects and developers will use the Signaling Hub to vote and recommend which token symbols to be added to the Bandchain data feed. The staking provider utilized the test to prepare the token symbols for the band network. The more band tokens are covered for a particular symbol, the more up to date the validator will provide you with information on price data. This consensus approach ensures that Oracle provides data for tokens in high demand.

Filling the gap

Second, this testnet is important because it checks the strength, scalability, and resilience of the band’s distributed Oracle protocol. This shows that the developers have tested new features and smart contracts related to future token symbols and network upgrades for the band.

Testnet has enabled comprehensive experimentation and has identified and fixed vulnerabilities and bugs before deploying token symbols to band Oracle V3. This process helped to remove expensive errors and potential security vulnerabilities.

Furthermore, successful testnet events mean that developers will be able to assess blockchain performance in a variety of scenarios (such as increased symbol demand, high transaction volumes) to ensure the ability to handle actual demand.

To put it all together, TestNet is important for Bandchain as it evaluated its ability to grow Oracle services and efficiently connect various other blockchain platforms. In short, successful tests of over 200 token symbols and multi-chain integration highlight blockchain preparation for a wide range of applications.
