Binance announces Defi App (Home) List for BNB Holders and 200m Airdrops

Binance is launching retroactive airdrops for active BNB holders that do not require new activity.

Binance has announced its 22nd project in the Defi App (Home), the Hoddlers Rewards program. Airdrop distributes 200 million home tokens to BNB holders to BNB holders who previously used simple acquisition or other on-chain yield programs.

Airdrop is retroactive and applies to users who interact with Aldo products on Binance between June 6th and June 9th. Distribution begins on June 12th, after which the tokens will move from Binance Alpha to the main exchange.

According to the developers, Home Token, also known as the Defi App, is designed to make decentralized finance more accessible. It has gas-free transactions across multiple blockchains, avoiding the use of cross-chain bridges. It also claims that the project provides more complete user custody than tokens.

On June 10, Defi App reported that it had processed a $15 billion transaction volume and attracted around 400,000 users since its launch.

Binance Alpha Airdrops is becoming more and more popular

The move will make active users eligible for rewards based on their BNB (BNB) balance part of the Binance Hodler Airdrops program. Specifically, users who subscribe to BNB to Simple are eligible for AirDrops.

Binance positions the program as a user acquisition strategy. Data shows that Binance wallets have recently surpassed Metamask and OKX on user volumes.

However, strategies are not without controversy. That is, some Binance users complain that Alpha users are getting all the rewards, but testnet users have been overlooked. Dissatisfied users have launched the #StopbinanceAlpha hashtag on X.
