Binance Wallet supports the Sonic Blockchain, allowing the interaction of assets with DAPP, and also bullies promotional airdrops that drive adoption.
Sonic (S) has secured a notable milestone in adoption. On Thursday, May 1st, Binance Wallet announced its integration with the Sonic blockchain. This move allows token transfers to be on-chained, allowing users to interact directly with Sonic Dapp through their wallets.

In addition to the integration, Binance has revealed plans for a promotional airdrop to promote wallet use. Although details are pending, Binance has confirmed that users actively involved with Dapps on the Sonic network via their Binance wallet are eligible to receive Sonic Tokens. The campaign’s aim is to encourage adoption of Binance’s multi-chine wallet solution.
Binance deepens relationship with Sonic
With integration into Binance wallets, Sonic is the latest in the network supported by this multi-chine wallet. These include Bitcoin Network, Ethereum and its Layer 2 network, Solana, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and more. The goal is to provide a platform where users can easily access multiple chains and exchange assets between them.

This announcement comes two days after Binance has enabled Bridged USDC for the Sonic network. According to exchanges, integrations can help increase liquidity on the network and increase native tokens. Still, Binance says that bridged USDCs are managed by Sonic Labs and cannot be redeemed with Circle, so users must handle them accordingly.

Formerly known as Fantom, Sonic is a high-performance layer-1 blockchain designed for sub-second finality, with transactions settling almost instantly. The network is fully compatible with Ethereum virtual machines, allowing seamless interoperability with Ethereum’s large ecosystem and associated layer 2 solutions.
