Gomining’s Bitcoin Mining Game Miner Wars on Tuesday added a rookie-friendly “welcome pack” and a “Clan League” feature for competitive players to enhance its suite of features, boosting the GameFi experience tied to actual Bitcoin mining.
Gomining says it has earned over 165,000 active players and has paid more than 144 BTC or $13 million at today’s price since Miner Wars’ launch in September.
“Situated at the intersection of digital mining and GameFi, Miner Wars has found a loyal, stable audience and a welcome niche,” Gomining CEO Mark Zalan said in a statement. He said the fresh features bring “a new level of traction and user engagement.”

The game gives you personal access to Gomining’s actual Bitcoin mining infrastructure via a cross-chain “miner” NFTS that corresponds to the actual share of computational resources from the group’s mining centre. Digital miners are published on Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Open Network (Ton) and can be traded on third-party platforms such as Gomining Marketplace or Magic Eden.
Those who buy miner NFTs will essentially participate in the mining pool and earn a proportional reward when the pool mines a bitcoin block. Users can then upgrade their NFTs, which could improve their chances of winning Bitcoin rewards in the process.
Digital Minor NFTs are also used to participate in Minor Wars. This increases productivity, adds multipliers, and offers higher rewards than regular compensation from mining. The game runs around 120-150 rounds per day and offers around one prize, along with rewards from Gomining, the company’s Ethereum-based token.
When joining the game, users compete to join the computational power of minor NFTs derived from Terrahash to join other players, clans, or other players in the process.
As of today’s update, these clans are currently grouped into leagues, enhancing the competitiveness of performance-based weekly promotions and demonstrations. Clans are placed in lower-level leagues like Dune League, designed for new players, or pushed up to the Odyssey League, offering bigger prizes, but are aimed at more experienced and “elite” minor wars players.
