Early Bitcoin investor Owen Ganden moved around 3,600 Bitcoins worth about $372 million on Friday, according to data tracked by Lookonchain.
Of this, 500 BTC worth approximately $52 million has already been deposited on Kraken, and the remaining 3,100 BTC is expected to be deposited on the exchange in the near future.
The OG Bitcoin whale transfer comes amid recent market volatility, with Bitcoin briefly falling below the critical $100,000 level before rebounding. According to CoinGecko, the digital asset was trading at $101,841 at the time of writing, down about 8% over the past week.
