Bitcoin Treasury Corp is boosting its holdings to 771 BTC and plans to lend after the $51 million purchase

Bitcoin Tray Corporation, a Canadian company focusing on Bitcoin-related services, rounded out the first leg of its Bitcoin purchase campaign, adding 478.57 Bitcoin

With a CAD of $70 million ($51 million), it increased its total holding to 771.37 BTC.

The accumulation will be around 0.0000634 BTC per fully diluted share, the company said in a press release Friday. The Toronto-based company plans to lend part of the BTC Treasury to trading desks and other counterparties that require immediate access to cryptocurrency.

This approach reflects the approach of many other companies that employ Bitcoin as a Ministry of Finance reserve asset.

According to Bitcoin Traceley data, public companies currently hold a total of 841,715 BTC, more than $90 billion, while private companies estimate that 290,878 BTC, more than $31 billion.
