Tokenized stocks promise a frictionless investment to the masses. But when Bitrue rolls out Nvidia, Tesla and Apple Tokens, the key question remains: what exactly are you buying? Tip: That’s not fair.
According to a press release shared with Crypto.News on July 4, Crypto Exchange Bitrue tokenized US stock trading through Xstocks, a partnership with Switzerland-based backed finances.
Tokenized representations and digital assets of Nvidia, Tesla and Apple stocks are now available on Bitrue’s Alpha trading platform. You can buy and sell using USDT 24 hours a day without having to comply with traditional brokerage accounts or US market times.
“We are working to break down traditional financial barriers that often exclude small investors, and users now have new ways to expand their portfolio.
But the trade-offs are clear. These assets track the actual performance of the stock, but do not grant ownership, dividends, or voting rights.

Tokenized Stocks: Promises and Trade-offs
Bitrue’s entry into tokenized stocks is challenging the gatekeeper of the traditional financial system. Through its partnership with Backed Finance, Exchange offers exposure to Marquee US stock without the usual access barriers.
The appeal of the user is that it is convenient. Assets can be bought and sold using USDT, settled in seconds, and accessed 24/7 without relying on brokerages or traditional exchanges
This opens new opportunities for global investors who generally keep out US stocks, but comes with an essential warning that highlights the distinction between exposure and ownership.
According to BitRue’s disclosure, these tokens are not comparable to actual stocks. Investors do not receive dividends, voting rights or participation in corporate actions. Essentially, users are buying synthetic exposure to stock performance, not fair.
This distinction makes more sense when compared to emerging platforms pursuing a more comprehensive on-chine equity model.
Meanwhile, the landscape of traditional tokenized assets is becoming increasingly crowded, with key players like Bybit, Kraken and Robinhood carefully navigating the boundaries of regulations, all introducing their own versions.
Bitrue’s strength lies in its simplicity and immediate usefulness, but the coming wave of more programmable tokenized assets could force all participants to rethink the value they actually offer beyond synthetic tracking.
