Crypto.com’s payment solutions will be deployed at 10 Emarat service stations as part of their initial deployment. These locations serve as test sites for the general integration of cryptocurrencies into retail fuel trading. The company has confirmed that the system will be extended across Emarat’s network of over 155 service stations until it has withheld the required regulatory clearance.
This partnership allows Emarat customers to use Crypto.com supported digital assets at checkout. The service is intended to work with existing payment methods and is expected to provide alternative options for transactions at pumps or service station stores. The pilot phase evaluates user adoption and system reliability before further expansion.
Project Landmark introduces branded fuel stations
In addition to technology integration, Emarat and Crypto.com have announced the launch of their joint branding initiative, Project Landmark. Under the project, the Al Ameen station in Emmarat, located on Al Wasl Road in Dubai, will be renamed “crypto.com emmarat service station.” This globally shows the first known case where cryptocurrency companies have secured the right to naming fuel stations.
According to both companies, the rebranded station will serve as a flagship site that will showcase the complete suite of services made possible through the partnership. The station has the infrastructure from Crypto.com, which will encourage Crypto payments and display co-branded signs. The site is expected to help increase partnership visibility while providing a controlled environment for optimizing services.
The executive statement emphasizes its focus on infrastructure and innovation.
Crypto.com UAE President Mohammed Al Hakim commented on the collaboration and said it was still the company’s central purpose to increase the usefulness of Cryptocurrencies. He said the UAE’s leadership in digital asset regulation and infrastructure development has made it a strategic place to launch this type of service.
Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Chief Retail Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Emarat, noted that the company is consistently investigating new ways to enhance the customer experience. He said the collaboration with Crypto.com represents a step towards integrating the next-generation payment system into Emarat’s retail model.
Customer profits and promotional offers are expected
They also confirmed that customers using Crypto.com or Emarat Services will be able to access exclusive promotional packages as part of the co-developed rewards programme. Although no exact details of the campaign have been released, the initiative is set to include a limited time incentive to encourage the use of new payment options.
As part of the expansion of the service, perks provided will be deployed and coordinated to align customer engagement goals set by both entities. There could be discounts, loyalty bonuses, or other programs to promote recruitment during the pilot phase.
