The ongoing debate about gas prices and network congestion has not stopped major projects in the Ethereum NFT space, including the boring APE Yacht Club, Azuki and Art Blocks.

Bitcoin gains momentum through ordinals

No one expected that, but Bitcoin ranked equal to $23.1 million on Superrare in NFT sales. This increase is primarily the result of using ordinals, a technology for creating NFTs on the Bitcoin network.

Despite Bitcoin having fewer buyers and sellers than Ethereum, the increase in NFT activity in Bitcoin is noteworthy. This shift means that Bitcoin, previously only used for financial transactions, is now serving as a medium for digital art and collectibles.

Polygons are user dominant, placing a third volume

The reason Polygon is gaining attention is that it has a large number of users as it brought in $15.97 million in NFT sales this week. The number of buyers was the highest (214,297) and sellers (36,182) were seen.

Mythos, Solana, and Immutable are other tear front runners

Game-related NFTs and digital assets are gaining popularity, as shown by sales of $8.59 million in Mythos’ fourth-place finish. Right behind, Solana brought in $5.92 million, maintaining its reputation as an affordable option for NFT operations

Another chain of Web3 gaming space, called Immutable, costs $5.84 million, and is gaining interest for platforms that marry NFTs and games.

Avalanches, BNB Chains, Arbitrum and Flow also entered the top 10 lists

Both the avalanche and the BNB chain achieved the same results, with each earning sales volumes of $4.13 million and $1.59 million.

Additionally, this week, Arbitrum received 65,518 buyers with $1.54 million in sales.

With Origins in the NBA’s top shot, Flow has reported $1.43 million so far, indicating that the system still holds the base as other businesses compete.

Signs showing base and panini

Bass and Panini saw some positive signs of interest from users, despite not being in the top ten. The base total sales amounted to $566,402, which was sold to 9,863 buyers, while Panini sold for $540,304 from 40,443 buyers.

Overall: Cross-chain NFT continues to grow

This weekly overview illustrates the current development of NFTs across a variety of platforms. Ethereum leads raw statistics, but Mythos and the ever-changing growth of Bitcoin, Polygons and games create a more competitive environment for NFTs. The NFT space operates in art, games, identity and collectibles.
