Sharplink Gaming, the world’s largest public company that employs the Ethereum financial strategy and owns the largest ETH, has purchased 10,000 ETH directly from the Ethereum Foundation.
According to an official statement from Sharplink Gaming, Sharplink Gaming has announced that it has signed a decisive agreement with the Ethereum Foundation (“EF”).
The purchase price per ETH was $2,572.37 and the transaction was executed on July 10, 2025.
Joseph Lubin, chairman of Sharplink and co-founder of Ethereum, commented on the purchase of 10,000 ETH.
“As Ethereum enters a new era of enterprises, we are proud to support our network’s long-term strength and decentralization mission.
This ETH transaction is not an exchange. It is our commitment to our long-term vision. Sharplink purchases, stakes, regenerates, removes supply from the circulation, and strengthens the health of the Ethereum ecosystem.
Furthermore, we see this as the beginning of something bigger. ”
ETH, which won 7.6% in the last 24 hours, is trading at $2,982, down below $3,000 at the time of writing.
