In a Fidelity report, financial institutions highlighted that Sol’s revenues and TVL are growing at a higher percentage than ETH. Despite Sol’s positive outlook, financial institutions are giving ETH an edge due to their strong fundamentals.
The report states thatWe believe that the foundation is the most important thing for long-term investors. That being said, Ethereum has powerful developer activity, total value lock (TVL), and Stablecoin Supply. In comparison, Solana’s revenue and TVL are improving at a faster rate than Ethereum, appearing to capture the important community mind share over the past year.“
Ethereum stays above Solana?
Solana’s (SOL) speeds and low transaction costs consistently support network growth. Fidelity also highlights the strong suits of the network.
Despite its bullish outlook, financial institutions point out that unlike Ethereum (ETH), they rely on Sol’s short-term trends. The MemeCoin project is one of the hottest things in the SOL network. Mimecoin often earns short-term profits and does not move much of the investor’s feelings. Fidelity points to how the Memecoin market only booms during the bull cycle and disappears in a bearish state.
Faithful says “.”Short-term price trends often revolve around the narrative, and given the planned upgrades of both networks, it is possible that Solana is a more prominent candidate in this regard throughout 2025.“
According to Fidelity, Ethereum’s (ETH) fundamentals are not very much in speculation. Its robust foundation makes it a more stable project than Solana (Sol).
In the future, Solana (SOL) could overshadow Ethereum (ETH). The project has not yet started upgrading firers. The upgrade is intended to significantly improve scalability. Reportedly, the upgrade will increase the SOL’s transactions per second to nearly 1 million TPS (transactions per second).
