Gate Pay Announces Institutional Accounts for Seamless Merchant Payments Management

3 weeks ago 3 Min Read

Gate Pay, a leading cryptocurrency payment solutions provider, has announced an exclusive service for merchants. Specifically, Gate Pay introduces institutional accounts, offering merchants seamless payment management at various levels. According to Gate Pay’s official X announcement, the new framework enables multi-level and comprehensive account management. Additionally, this service eliminates the organizational requirement to develop and maintain complex internal accounting mechanisms.

Gate Pay provides merchants with multi-level payment management

With the launch of the new Institutional Account feature, Gate Pay strives to streamline the merchant experience with multi-level account management. This development provides the platform with a scalable infrastructure provider for business payments across a variety of use cases and clients. This feature is intended for institutions managing downstream users. Therefore, the Gate Pay Institutional Accounts feature allows businesses to efficiently incorporate diverse users into a centrally managed management structure with appropriate permissions.

Apart from that, the framework includes an institutional account that acts as the main controlling entity, allowing merchants to create diverse autonomous sub-accounts depending on business line, application scenario, or customer. Each sub-account remains operationally separate and has clear attribution, ensuring accountability and transparency across the entity. API-based account privilege management and creation allows institutions to control multiple entities and complex operations.

The modern system also brings resilient payment and remittance capabilities at the sub-account scale. Sub-accounts may provide beneficiary account functionality with respect to order creation. As a result, users can make payments accurately to the specified platform. At the same time, financial institutions can support rapid asset conversion, settlement, refunds, withdrawals, and swaps, covering important scenarios spanning fund distribution and payment receipt. Each design enables financial institutions to manage different financial workflows without friction and with complete operational clarity.

Reaffirms commitment to improving institutional accounts for regulatory compliance

According to Gate Pay, the institutional account feature highlights its purpose of providing institutions and merchants with a more controllable and clear means of multi-account management. This development addresses key requirements in proprietary digital payments by supporting effective payments and stable operations in complex business structures. Additionally, the platform has also unveiled strategies to further improve the functionality of institutional accounts to meet regulatory requirements and merchant demands.
