Digital asset management company Grayscale today staked 857,600 ETH worth $3.8 billion across its Ethereum ETP products. This move represents one of the largest institutional positions in the Ethereum network.

Staked tokens are distributed between Grayscale’s ETHE and ETH ETFs, both of which currently offer staking rewards to investors through on-chain participation.

Grayscale became the first provider to offer staking functionality on a US-listed Ethereum ETP, bridging crypto rewards and regulated investment vehicles. This feature allows traditional investors to earn revenue from Ethereum’s proof-of-stake consensus mechanism without directly managing digital wallets or validator nodes.

Grayscale has reportedly staked approximately 890,000 ETH following the debut of the first crypto staking ETP in the US.
