Haliey ‘Hawk Tuah’ Welch feels “sorry” to the victims of the meme coin scandal

Stripped by internet fame after a street interview detailing oral sex techniques, Harry Welch apologized for her role in the Hawktoa Meme Coin scandal. She added that her silence since the incident was part of a “more-needed” mental health break.

This collapsed shortly after launch after Welch promoted Solana Meme Coin, called Hawk Tuah (Hawk), in connection with her viral interview. Within 15 minutes, the token was created and spiked to a market capitalization of $490 million. After that, 93% value crashed.

“It’s just one thing that happened and I feel sorry for everyone who just lost their money,” Welch said. Hawk Tuah Token was launched in collaboration with Doc Hollywood (appointed to Alex Larson Schultz in the lawsuit), Overhere Limited, Clinton SO, and Tuah the Moon Foundation.

On the day of the token launch, Welch, Schultz and the unnamed Over representatives took the angry investors to X-space to calm them down. But that didn’t work. Welch has not pointed out any particular parties, but he excluded himself from the equation by saying it had nothing to do with technology.

The host of Internet Influencer and Talk’s Toa Podcast said the scandal had a terrible impact on her mental health, but not as much as she first exploded on the internet following a street interview.

“After that interview, everything changed. I’ve always struggled with mental health and I’m still a little bit,” she said. “Your life is basically online, and people can say anything you want to do, and you could sit there thinking and sit there. Welch eventually broke her silence and supported the aforementioned lawsuit. Later, podcast episodes between YouTube Faze Banks and many crypto influencers were leaked, prompting allegations of market manipulation, and creating more silence.

However, in April, the Tuah Podcast returned with four episodes. Welch is back to normal. This time, she says there is a higher level of scrutiny for her next partner.
