After implementing Chain Link Cross Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) on the mainnet, the Chain Link Standard became Hedera’s core solution as the leading enterprise-grade public chain in a decentralized economy. Provides developers with secure access to applications with cross-chain interoperability capabilities. The Hedera team announced that the integration will help expand the Defi and RWA ecosystem.
With 46 blockchain support, ChainLink CCIP allows Hedera developers to carry out transactions to transfer tokens, sending and performing message actions across different chain platforms. The implementation of CCIP enhances Defi and tokenized RWA systems by creating a secure flow of fluidity from user blockchain to blockchain. Director of Hashgraph’s developer advocacy Greg Scullard acknowledged that secure blockchain interoperability is important for the growth of Defi and the tokenized RWA ecosystem.
The reliability and security of ChainLink’s Oracle network is demonstrated by supporting more than $20 trillion in chain transactions and supporting a total debt value of $75 billion locked at its peak. The continuous behavior of CCIP ensures error-free execution in cross-chain transactions and serves as a critical foundation for the deployment of the growing Hedera ecosystem.
