Jetcraft partners with Coin Payment to bring crypto payments to civil aviation

9 months ago 3 Min Read

Coinpayments and Jetcraft are partnering to enable aircraft purchases and crypto payments for civil aviation services.

According to a press release shared with Crypto.News, Coinpayments Inc. announces its partnership with Jetcraft, the leading Crypto Payment Gateway and the world’s largest buyer and business aircraft seller, enabling cryptocurrency payments for aircraft and civil aviation services.

“The partnership with Jetcraft represents an important milestone in the adoption of cryptocurrency in the HNW market,” said Alex Alexandrov, chairman of Coinpayments Inc.

As part of this partnership, Coinpayments technology will be fully integrated into Jetcraft’s accounting and trading processes. Clients can use a wide range of crypto assets for transactions and are processed instantly with state-of-the-art encryption and security protocols to protect all transactions.

“With Jetcraft, we evolve according to the ever-changing needs of our global customers, where many dominate the spaces of high-tech, AI and entrepreneurs,” said Jahid Fazal-Karim, owner and chairman of Jetcraft. “However, we are often constrained by outdated processes and systems. By partnering with CoinPayment, we submit innovative payment solutions that fit our customers’ advanced thinking.”

The luxury market accepts crypto

The Coin Payment and Jetcraft partnership mark the first major integration of crypto payment solutions within the civil aviation sector. However, the use of crypto in services tailored to the wealthy has steadily gained traction in other luxury markets.

For example, luxury real estate companies in cities like Miami and Dubai have begun accepting Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies for multi-million dollar real estate transactions. In 2022, Sotheby’s International Realty partnered with Voxel Architects and NFT Collector Gabe Sierra to launch the “Metareal” Mansion Project in Miami, aiming to sell real-world luxury homes alongside the Digital Twin in Metaverse, with a transaction being carried out via NFT on Ethereum (Eth) Blockain.

Similarly, concierge services, which cater to luxury retailers and wealthy customers, accept crypto. Luxury watch brand Hublot has begun accepting BTC and ETH for its limited edition watches of choice, but has accepted Bitcoin (BTC) from high-end vehicles such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Bugatti.
