MetaMask adds passive income functionality with USDT and other stubcoins

6 months ago 2 Min Read

Ethereum and other cryptocurrency wallets, Metamask integrates a new feature called «Stablecoin hear». This allows users to generate passive income that directly deposits USDC, USDT, and Dai Stablinins in their mobile applications.

This process is carried out through the Aave distributed loan protocol. No external platforms or additional commissions required.

For deposits, users will receive ATOKEN, such as AUDC. AUDCs represent their assets and automatically accumulate yields based on floating interest rates. Funds can be withdrawn at any timemaintains complete control over the amounts deposited.

Plus, you get Stablecoin Operated without an intermediary and does not require identification (KYC)the general process of centralized platforms that require personal data to comply with regulations.

Meanwhile, Aave highlighted that this function is available in Ethereum, Line, Arbitrary and base networks thanks to its progressive implementation of the Metamask Mobile application for all users.

The integration utilizes the Aave infrastructure. This allows deposits, withdrawals and revenues to be yielded directly from the wallet at no additional cost.

Joseph Lubin, founder of Consensys, the company behind Metamask, highlighted the importance of this collaboration. «Your money, your control. It’s great to see two pioneer projects come together to create innovative solutions for the next generation ».

Meanwhile, as reported by Cryptootics, metamask arises from creating another move, this time with Zcash, a cryptocurrency known for transactions protected by the zero-knowledge law. The development, announced to the public on July 21, 2025, allows users to send and receive armored transactions (ZECs) that hide amounts and addresses directly from their browser wallets, without the need for additional software or full nodes.
