The Moca Foundation has announced the launch of Moca Chain, a layer-one blockchain focused on digital identity and user data. This chain allows people, devices, and AI systems to manage and verify digital qualifications without using a centralized platform. Testnet is expected for the third quarter of 2025, while Mainnet continues for the 2025 quarter.

MOCA chains support the verification of both on-chain and off-chain data across different blockchains. Uses distributed storage, Oracle for cross-chain identity, ZKTLS (How to prove web data), and on-chain verification. It is EVM compatible and uses MOCA Coin for transaction fees, staking and other services.

This chain is developed to solve important issues with identity systems, such as data fragmentation, lack of privacy and limited interoperability. Supports medical, education, finance and advertising use cases. For example, validating a medical record, diploma or onboarding user using validated data.

The MOCA chain is designed for use in real-world applications. It will be connected to the Air Kit of Moca Network, which is already used on the Web2 platform. This allows developers to integrate their identity and rewards systems into familiar apps.

The platform also gives users complete control over their identity while moving data such as loyalty points and access rights between apps. Protocols using MOCA chains can issue or validate identity data using zero knowledge proofs without the need for centralized APIs. This structure shifts control from the platform to the user, supporting secure personal and private identity services across the blockchain network.
