NFT sales fell to $89.4 million, with Cryptopunks sales jump of 106%

Despite the broader Crypto Market’s upward movement, the NFT market is struggling, with sales volume falling 6.15% to $89.4 million.

At the time of pressing, Bitcoin (BTC) was above the $94,000 level. Ethereum (ETH) has risen 0.4% below the $1,800 level.

Global crypto market capitalization went from $2.97 trillion last week to $2.69 trillion.

According to Cryptoslam data, NFT buyers rose 54.33% to 391,498, while NFT sellers rose 45.06% to 223,311. However, NFT transactions fell 10.25% to 1,404,451.

Ethereum remains the main blockchain

Ethereum is the leading blockchain for NFT sales, at $25.1 million. This is an increase of 22.07% from the previous week. Ethereum’s wash trading skyrocketed 57.01% to $3.4 million.

Mythos Chain went up to second place, with sales of $15.1 million and an improvement of just 1.21%. Bitcoin slipped into third place at $14.7 million, down 14.18% from last week.

Polygon (Pol) fell to fourth place with $9.9 million sales, hitting 53.63%. Solana (Sol) closed the top five with $9.2 million and rebounded with a 40.70% increase.

Buyers are growing on most blockchains, with Solana leading with 83.66% growth rate followed by 57.77% polygon and 52.82% Bitcoin.

A major shift occurred in the collection rankings, with DMARKET regaining its top spot with $9.9 million sales. The polygon courtyard fell to second place at $8.8 million, a sharp drop of 55.39%.

The most surprising development is that Cryptopunks has returned to third place with sales of $3.6 million. This is a 106.19% increase after the previous decline. This collection saw an overall board growth with a 90% increase in transactions, a 107.14% increase in buyers and doubled sellers.

Guild of Guardians’ Heroes is the fourth, at $3.6 million, but sales fell 7.05%. Bitcoin’s BRC-20 NFT was the fifth, at $2.9 million, down 21.87%.

Newcomers in the Top Collection include the guild of sixth Guardian Avatars for $1.5 million and the 7th Pudgy Penguins for $1.5 million.
