Nillion Network and Cludician launch privacy-first PetNet nodes

6 months ago 2 Min Read

The Nillion Network has officially announced the PetNet node in collaboration with Cloudiciantech. This project will be one of the milestones in the growth of Nillion Network’s privacy-first infrastructure. Unlike traditional blockchain systems that allow data calculations without displaying the original content, PETNET works based on multi-party calculations (MPC).

I’m pleased to be able to support the growth of blind calculations by working with petNet nodes with @nillionnetwork using @cloudiciantech.

PetNet is created for calculations that provide privacy. Data is split into encrypted pieces and processed securely by Nillion’s NILDB and NILCC modules. These fragments are never revealed in plain text outside the trusted execution environment (TEE), thus ensuring end-to-end data protection.

Enterprise clusters increase infrastructure integrity

Nillion has created a strategic enterprise cluster to further improve network reliability. Among the key players in this group are STC Bahrain, Cludian from Alibaba Cloud, Pailpoint from Vodafone and Deutsche Telekom. These companies contribute to infrastructure, operational accountability and global accessibility.

This collaboration between Nillion and Alibaba Cloud provides a verifiable trust basis for node operations that are extremely crucial for network scalability and security. These companies help PetNet test use cases in real time, deploying infrastructure and creating routes to privacy-enabled products.

Privacy applications for major industries

Blind calculations are enabled by using nodes that the enterprise performs, creating new sector functions. At least in communication, operators can understand user data without infringing privacy. Banking organizations can perform encrypted risk management and fraud analytics. A sensitive research partnership in the health sector is possible without the transfer or revealing personal data.

This kind of cooperation allows for privacy implemented by architecture rather than policy. PetNet infrastructure can be deployed in a modular way and its configuration can be customized, allowing developers to address jurisdiction, compliance and performance requirements.
