Exchange NYSE ARCA “certifies listing and registration” of ProShares Ultra XRP ETF, according to Monday. Submit In the SEC.
The certification came after the fund It appears on the DTCC listing and shows it is ready for a deal and settlement, but its market debut could still face delays.
Leveraged Futures-based ETFs, which are expected to trade NYSE ARCA under ticker UXRP, are trying to double the daily performance of the XRP index using derivatives such as SWAP contracts and futures contracts, rather than holding XRP directly.
In addition to Ultra XRP ETFs, ProShares is planning to launch two related products: Short XRP ETF (XRPS) and UltraShort XRP ETF (RIPS). Neither is listed in DTCC yet.
The Ultra XRP ETF product page was published on Monday as the fund is now in effect. However, no transactions have yet to be launched.
Proshares plans to launch a trio of XRP futures ETFs on July 18th, but the timeline may shift.
