Takenos enables QR payments with mass participation in Devconnect in Argentina

With the Takenos virtual wallet, QR payments are now available to all foreign users in Argentina.

This feature is not yet available for users in Argentina, but is now enabled Devconnect, within the framework of the Ethereum World Fair It will be held from November 17th to 22nd in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires. This event will be attended by over 8,000 foreigners.

Takenos explained that he worked to activate this feature because he noticed that many Devconnect visitors were facing a common issue. They were unable to open bank accounts and had to deal with unfavorable exchange rates for payments in Argentina.

“Thanks to the effectiveness of the solution, face-to-face activation and the virality of X, around 5,000 foreign users are using the new functionality,” the Argentinian startup explained.

As mentioned by CriptoNoticias, Takenos offers users an account that allows them to hold balances in digital dollars, transfer stablecoins like USDT and USDC, pay in Brazilian reals, and withdraw funds in Argentine pesos.
