Information obtained from cryptocurrency on-chain data shows that quantitative investment company Manifold is believed to have purchased Curve Finance (CRV) tokens.
According to the data, the address of the crypto wallet, which is believed to be affiliated with Manifold, used a USDC Stablecoin CRV worth $2 million. The address transferred a $2 million USDC to cryptocurrency exchange vinance and quickly retracted the 3.14 million CRV token.
The average cost of this purchase was measured at $0.63 per CRV.
At the time of writing, the CRV is trading at $0.58. Its market value is $795 million. The token reached an all-time high of $23.9 billion on January 15th, 2022. It peaked at $5.34 at the time. Due to token inflation, current price CRVs must reach to break new records in terms of total market value.
