Tron (TRX), a low-cost EVM-compatible L1 blockchain, has registered a massive surge in all chain activity metrics in H1, 2025, according to a recent report by Cryptoquant Analytics. With this rally, Tron (TRX) has reintroduced its position as the largest platform for US Dollar Tether (USDT) transfers.

In the first two quarters of 2025, the Tron (TRX) blockchain witnessed an unparalleled spike in transaction activity. That is, daily transferred volume indicators, which increased 67% year-on-year, said in a new report by on-chain research firm Cryptoquant.

In May 2025, the Tron (TRX) blockchain processed 273 million transactions among 273 million addresses, the highest number since 2023.
With a total cost of $308 million in June 2025, the Tron (TRX) network witnessed another high, but the average price remains at $1.18.
The same applies to Tronics (TRX), the platform’s native gas cryptocurrency and core utilities and governance token. Over 20 billion TRX moved in June. This amounted to $5.4 billion, 61% larger than June 2024.
The TRX price surged from $0.25 to $0.33 in 2025, earning 33%.

In H1, 2025, Tron (TRX) has regained status on the most popular USDT platform with 88.8 billion issued coins compared to Ethereum’s 73 billion.
Tron (TRX) experienced a massive 21 billion USDT inflows in TRON (TRX) in 2025. Tron (TRX) handled USDT value 2.7 times more than Ethereum (ETH) for $24.6 billion on June 26th.
