US President Donald Trump, who will lead Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrency markets in statements and movements, has issued a new statement.
For months, US-China trade tensions, which had been the focus of the crypto market, have eased after weekend talks reached an agreement to maintain tariffs at low prices for 90 days.
But as both sides shook the much-anticipated trade deal, President Donald Trump’s post has once again sparked chaos.
Trump also mentioned cryptocurrency in his statement while visiting Qatar as part of his visit to the Middle East.
President Trump once again repeated his support for cryptocurrency, saying the US is ahead of the cryptocurrency and is leading China.
“I’m a big advocate for cryptocurrency.
He leads China at Crypto. We are ahead of China. ”
Trump recently stressed that his goal is to become a crypto leader, warning that if the US is behind, China can lead the way in crypto.
“I want cryptography. I think cryptography is important because if we don’t do it, China will do that, and they’ll be ahead,” Trump said.
As you may remember, after months of tension, the US and China agreed to cut back on business. Therefore, the Chinese administration will reduce tariffs on US-original products from 125% to 10% in 90 days. In return, the US will reduce its 145% obligation applied to China to 30%.
