USA Today, one of America’s biggest news outlets, runs an article claiming that XRP is the “smart cryptocurrency” that is purchased for $500 for “long-term growth potential.”

This article states that “real world utilities” in the realm of international payments are the main selling point of tokens.

At the same time, it warns potential investors that they should not expect the “explosive” returns seen in the past due to their vast size. According to Coingecko, the market capitalization is currently at $170 billion. Therefore, XRP buyers need to focus on “slow and steady” growth.

The opinion article also states that stubcoin is more efficient than XRP for international transfers, but emphasizes that RLUSD can “indirectly benefit” XRP because it is on the same network. That said, it is worth mentioning that RLUSD is a dual chain stub-loub coin, and the majority of its supply is on the Ethereum network.

Reduce the maximum list of bitcoins

USA Today attracted several social media backlash after running the article (mainly the largest list of Bitcoin).

It is worth noting that it was actually syndicated by the well-known financial services company The Motley Fool. Therefore, the staff at USA Today were not actually involved in producing it.

However, it was still featured on the USA Today website and its official social media channels.

The official X account of the social media outlet boasts over 5 million followers.
