Ethereum co-founder and its public leader Vitalik Buterin recalls this Brainchild first whitepaper published in 2013 and has obtained an X account to address the ETH community about the issue of ETHEREUM LAYER-1.

BlackRock prefers Ethereum over other top altcoins

In that statement, he responded to a post by Joseph Rubin, another Ethereum co-founder, supporting him for the importance of the Ethereum Layer-1 topic.

Lubin responded to a tweet containing data on BlackRock’s betting on Ethereum, in his turn, than other popular altcoins, including those that build a Layer 2 network on Ethereum.

The screenshot shows BlackRock’s $3 billion tokenized Crypto Fund holdings. Meanwhile, chains such as Aptos, Avalanche, Optimus, Solana and Polygon are represented at $18 million to $53 million.

Buterin and Lubin defend Ethereum L1

Lubin praised the Ethereum L1 vs. tier 2 blockchain, saying it will become the “world’s master ledger.” He reminded the Crypto community that it can be allowed at any time, and that anyone can use it to add data and features.

He listed other virtues of it.

Lubin added that there is also a “huge community at its best class.” This is a powerful patient who boasts of “the actor of resources that works to destroy the system.” However, Rubin concluded that “as Ethereum grows and matures, this becomes more and more difficult.”

Vitalik Buterin backed the tweet with a single statement, “Ethereum L1 is a World Ledger.”
