Gemini took part in the Bitcoin 2025 conference with Tesla CyberTruck, which did more than turn the head. The truck, called “CyberBeast,” was painted with black and gold Bitcoin vinyl and connected to a compact Bitaxe gamma miner. Participants watched the live performance as if the setup had mined bitcoin behind the truck.
Cybertruck mining demo steals the show
According to a report from the conference, the CyberBeast Edition brings a 845-horsepower tri-motor system, which can tow up to 11,000 pounds. It’s not just about transporting gear.
In Gemini’s demo, the truck powered the Bitaxe device through its own battery pack and quickly recharged it. The miner itself connects to Wi-Fi, works quietly, and requires only a regular household outlet.
Solo Satoshi Units power the rig
It sold over 10,000 open source miners in April, based on a report from Solo Satoshi, the maker of Bitaxe Gamma. This has added more than 10 petahash (pH) to the Global Bitcoin Network.

The gamma model is energy efficient. It draws almost the same power as a space heater and can fit in your backpack. It will become a favorite for home users who don’t want a noisy machine in their living room.
The prize links entries and deals
Gemini linked the stunt to a US sweepstakes held from May 19th to June 18th, 2025. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to participate. The two winners will each receive a $113,735 cyber truck “Cyberbeast.” They also receive $2,000 for travel and cash to cover taxes.
Earn one entry for every $50 spent on your Gemini credit card or for every transaction on Gemini Exchange. Earn up to 20,000 entries. You can use 10,000 from card usage and 10,000 from transactions.

Mining is facing new challenges in 2025
Based on data from April 2024, mining compensation fell from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC after half. It cut revenue by half overnight.
Hashpris (revenue per day per terrahash) exists from $0.12 last year to $0.049 this April. The network difficulty has risen to a record 123 trillion. Miners need power-drinking gear to keep them running.
Despite the harsher mathematics, the strength of the network is rising. According to the report, the total Bitcoin hashrate hit hits at 831 seconds (EH/s) this month, with the peak being near 921 EH/s. This is a 77% increase from 2024 LOW at 519 EH/s.
New rigs and higher Bitcoin prices are pushing the numbers up. Bitcoin itself has flirted at a new all-time high of nearly $112,000 in recent weeks.
Gemini’s cybertruck mining setup is more than a stunt. It suggests a future where mining could occur outside of warehouse farms. But for now it’s playing best on stage. There, photographers and crypto fans can get a glimpse into what mobile mining looks like.
