Michael Saylor, whose corporate finance has become almost synonymous with Bitcoin itself, has only one question as 2025 enters its final quarter: “Can BTC end this year above $150,000?”
His poll has already received more than 42,000 votes, with three in four people saying they think the world’s largest cryptocurrency can achieve its goals.
For Thaler, this is more than just an afterthought. His company, NASDAQ-listed company Strategy, has purchased 640,031 BTC since August 2020 at an average price of $73,981. That stash is worth more than $77 billion at its current price of $120,700, and the company is up more than 63%.

But the significance of the $150,000 number goes beyond the paper profit.
If Bitcoin rises to that zone, the value of Strategy’s holdings would increase by more than $18 billion. That would bring the company’s BTC position closer to the $96 billion line, turning it into an asset base comparable to some of the world’s largest banks.
100 billion dollar strategy
The market is already showing support. Strategy’s stock value is approximately $100 billion, and its enterprise value is approximately $115 billion.
The Bitcoin chart also shows why this question is so important. With a market capitalization of just over $120,000, BTC has risen from its September lows and is nearing its summer highs.
The final three months of 2025 will reveal whether Mr. Saylor’s bet turns into the biggest corporate win of the decade or the worst bubble burst of the century.
