WisdomTree has announced its tokenized investment vehicle and has brought private credit directly to the blockchain rail.

The WisdomTree Private Credit and Alternate Income Digital Fund (CRDT) launched on September 12th with Ethereum and the Starry Blockchain. It is available to investors through the company’s Prime and Connected Platforms.

The fund’s performance reflects the Gapstow Private Credit and Alternative Income Index (GLACI), according to the statement. The subscription resolves immediately (t+0), redemptions are finalized in 2 days (t+2), and the minimum investment threshold is set at $25.

Will Peck said he is head of WisdomTree’s digital assets.

“CRDT unlocks access to one of the most coveted asset classes, one of the alternatives. By expanding the breadth of tokenized funds, it gives crypto-native investors the opportunity to diversify, all within the digital ecosystem, through exposures previously reserved for institutions.”

The move highlights how asset managers are accelerating the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs). According to RWA.xyz, this trend has pushed the total amount of already tokenized equipment to nearly $30 billion on the chain.

By turning personal credit into digital products, WisdomTree aims to shorten payment cycles, increase transparency and provide access to the market for around 24 hours.

Providing private credit on-chain

Private credit, a form of debt financing offered outside traditional banking and public bond markets, has become one of the fastest expanding areas of global financing.

Over the past few years, businesses have increasingly relied on customized loans and flexible repayment schedules, now driving a market worth more than $1 trillion.

According to data from RWA.xyz, the sector already controls tokenized assets, accounting for half of its totalling over $29 billion. The source blockchain figure platform controls its largest share at around $17 billion.

With CRDT, Indibuttree aims to open up space for this growth segment by providing a transparent blockchain-based structure for investors who want to be exposed to personal credit without the hurdles of institutional gatekeeping.

“We are pleased to announce that Jeremy Schwartz, Global Chief Investment Director, WisdomTree, said:

“Private credit has become one of the most talked about opportunities in today’s market. For four years, we have been proud to make this space more accessible to individual investors through ETFs, and now CRDT is able to offer yield potential with modern tokenized funds.”
