The partnership leverages Google Cloud’s confidential computing platform to create a secure environment where private cryptocurrency keys are encrypted and inaccessible, even when actively using them. The collaboration addresses recent high-profile security breaches, such as the July 2023 Multichine Incident, highlighting the need for a robust private key management solution. By integrating its own trusted computing mechanism (TCM) with Google Cloud’s sensitive space, INABIT aims to eliminate the vulnerabilities associated with traditional management solutions. This new technology allows financial institutions to safely handle large volumes of cryptocurrency transactions, reducing the risk of internal violations and unauthorized access.
